Oooh! This was a great book. I'm glad my kids are much younger. It should have a warning label for parents with kids in high school. Tough storyline, but so well written. An emotionally charged book. Once again you get the in depth on each person in the story. I had hoped throughout the book that the families would overcome there anguish and restore the bond they once had. There is so much more to this story than the "love story" the cover quotes. There is just something about her writing that makes you feel like you are a part of it all. I can still see the visual I had while reading this book as if I were a neighbor and living my life with them (and I finished this book on the last day of July and I can still see it all so clearly).
I think this blog is becoming a bit of an oxymoron for me. I want to talk about the books I've read - yet if I say to much would anyone really want to read them. I think that's what started it for me is I wanted someone else to read it too and then talk to me about it. Is that possible? I guess I need to form a Book Club, in my spare time of course.

You're right. A book club is your answer. I belonged to one once and I loved the mental stimulation of it.
